After our trip to our local Asia market (see previous post/reel for our essentials), we were in the mood to make noodles inspired by one of our favorite dishes: Pad See Ew 😍🥢💚 Very few things are more comforting that a warm bowl of saucy noodles – especially on a Sunday…. right??? We also love adding chopped peanuts right on top to give that satisfying crunch 🥜 Who else is noodle obsessed? 🤪Check out the recipe below ⬇️⬇️⬇️⁣

Sauce Ingredients:⁣
2 tbs of hoisin sauce ⁣
1 tbs of sesame oil ⁣
1 tbs of sweet soy sauce ⁣
1 tbs of black soy sauce ⁣
1-2 tbs of chili oil ~ depending on spicy level desired ⁣
1 tsp of coconut aminos ⁣
2 tbs of water ⁣

Stir Fry Ingredients: ⁣
1 tbs of sesame oil ⁣
2 garlic cloves, minced⁣
4 cups of chopped shiitake mushrooms ⁣
1 cup of fresh basil⁣
2 handfuls of greens of choice⁣
2 cups of bean sprouts ⁣
1/2 of chopped peanuts⁣
16 oz of noodles of choice, cooked


1. Add hoisin sauce, sesame oil, sweet soy sauce, black soy sauce, chili oil, coconut aminos and water to a mixing bowl. ⁣
2. Mix until sauce is well combined. Set aside. ⁣
3. In a pan over medium heat, add sesame oil and garlic. Cook for 5 minutes or until garlic is golden.⁣
4. Add mushrooms and cook for 10 minutes. Stir occasionally. ⁣
5. Add greens and bean sprouts. ⁣
6. Add sauce and mix gently. Cook 5-7 minutes. ⁣
7. Add basil. Mix gently. ⁣
8. Add noddles. Mix gently. ⁣
9. Top it off with chopped peanuts! ⁣
10. Enjoy 🙂 ⁣
