Weekends are for stir frying! 👨🏻‍🍳💚👨🏽‍🍳It’s the best way to clean the fridge with some of the ingredients hanging around…. plus a good stir fry is too comforting to skip out on! 😍🍚 Lately, we have been experimenting with various types of soy sauces! Each one adds a unique dimension of flavor to the recipe – which one is your favorite soy sauce? We can’t decide 🙈⁣

3 tbs of cooking oil ⁣
1 large onion, diced ⁣
2 cups of corn ⁣
3.5 oz of puffed tofu ⁣
3 cups of rice, cooked ⁣
1 cup of peas ⁣
2 tbs of chili oil ⁣
4 tbs of soy sauce ⁣
1 tbs of black soy sauce ⁣
1 tbs of sweet soy sauce ⁣
1 green onion, chopped ⁣

1. In a large pan, over medium heat, add your cooking oil, onion, corn and tofu. ⁣
2. Cook for 5-7 minutes or until onions are caramelized. ⁣
3. Add cooked rice and stir. Cook for 2-3 minutes. ⁣
4. Add peas and stir. Cook for 2-3 minutes ⁣
5. In a small bowl, combine chili oil, soy sauce, black soy sauce and sweet soy sauce.⁣
6. Add sauce to the pan. Mix well. ⁣
7. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. ⁣
8. Top it off with some fresh green onion and fried chili oil! 😍⁣
9. Enjoy 🙂

  2. I saw puffed tofu at the store but passed it up today bc I’ve never seen it used before. grrr. Think regular tofu will work ok (baked tofu)?
